The Valley Symphony Orchestra & Chorale welcomes Adam Wodnicki, spectacular piano virtuoso, back to the final concert of the 60th Anniversary Season – Concert VI to be held at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance located at 118 Paseo del Prado (behind Women’s Hospital at Renaissance off of McColl Road), in Edinburg on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 8:00 PM.


Whether your celebrating an anniversary or if you just want to make it a date night — prepare yourselves for a magnificent evening of entertainment by Maestro Peter Dabrowski’s Valley Symphony Orchestra and internationally renowned pianist, recording artist and pedagogue, Polish born artist, Adam Wodnicki.  He has received acclaim on five continents for his dramatic interpretations, poetic sensitivity and brilliant technique.


Wodnicki is a three-time winner of the annual Chopin Society National Piano Competition in Warsaw and recipient of three prizes at the 8th Festival of Polish Pianists.  He is also a Regents Professor of Piano at the University of North Texas in Denton and Co-Director of International Piano Master Classes in Varna, Bulgaria.  Adam Wodnicki has concertized and taught in North and South America, Europe, Africa and the Far East.  He studied with Jan Hoffman, Guido Agosti and Gyorgy Sebok, and his artistic roots can be traced to the traditions of Fryderyk Chopin, Franz Liszt and Ferrucio Busoni.
