The Refuge is sponsoring an open house about its public hunting program on November 4th, 2013. This informal meeting will allow the US Fish and Wildlife Service staff and hunters to share ideas and will give interested hunters an opportunity to comment on proposed hunt improvements and changes. The open house will be held at the Rio Hondo Independent School District Administrative Building located at 215 West Colorado St., Rio Hondo, TX 78583. There will be no formal presentation by staff. Hunters are invited to attend the meeting anytime between 4 pm and 8 pm.
