Fridays & Saturdays 9:30 AM, Sundays 1:00 PM: Guided Bus Tours – purchase tickets 20 minutes before tour, limited to 10 people per tour. $4 adults, $3.50 seniors, $2 ages 3 – 12, 2 and under FREE. Booster & Car Seats must be provided for ages 8 and under.
National Trails Day – June 1 – Help keep Santa Ana clean on this trash pick-up day. Bags provided, bring hat, bug spray, gloves & water.
Laguna Atascosa NWR • 956.748.3607 Directions: the Refuge is 18 miles east of Rio Hondo, TX on FM 106
Laguna Atascosa Visitor Center will be closing at 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 2. Visitors can self-register using the station outside the front doors.
Twilight Tour: Discover the refuge habitats and see which animals become active at night on this 2.5 hour guided tour on our climate controlled bus. Bring binoculars and jackets. June 22, 7:00-9:30PM. Call 956-748-3607 ext. 111 to make your reservation. FREE with $3 entrance fee. This vehicle is wheelchair accessible.
Kayak the Laguna Madre: Enjoy time outside in nature with friends and family. Learn basic kayaking skills while investigating the plants and animals of the laguna.
