Parks & Outdoors

There are many State Parks, County Parks and National Parks scatter throughout the Rio Grand Valley. It is a popular place for nature lovers of all kinds. Due to it’s unique position in the state, it is an ideal place for Birder’s to view over 300 species of birds. It is also in the path of many migratory birds. Along with birds you are likely to view other wildlife in the parks throughout the Rio Grand Valley. Although Port Mansfield is not a park there are many wild deer that roam the city. Many are tame enough that they can be hand fed  (just use caution as they are wild).
